For the first time, The Observatory Science Centre is participating in ‘Heritage Open Days’.  This event celebrates England's fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.

Take this opportunity to visit the centre, which offers something for everyone – a fun day out!
If you are interested in science then explore our 100+ hands-on science exhibits (indoors and out) and attend The Sound Show at 1pm.
If you are fascinated by astronomy then wander the atmospheric green domes and join a tour of the telescopes at 12 midday, 2pm or 4pm.
If you are an historian then visit our exhibition ‘Domes of Discovery’ – the story of The Royal Observatory which brings to life the 300-year history of one of the most famous scientific institutions in the world.
