The Observatory Science Centre reserves the right to alter admission prices without prior notice.

Regular Admission Prices do not apply to Special Events etc.

Gift Aid admission

If you are a UK tax payer please 'gift aid' your admission.

Science Projects Ltd is a registered charity No. 298542 and one way in which you can support The Centre is through Gift Aid.
This can be actioned by making a donation on top of the admission price or through joining the membership scheme.
The extra makes a massive difference and will help to maintain and develop this unique centre.

Gardens & Grounds of Herstmonceux Castle

The Centre is set within the beautiful Herstmonceux Castle Estate, home of  Bader International Study Centre, Queen's University (Canada).

If you wish to visit both The Observatory Science Centre and The Gardens & Grounds, you can purchase Joint Admission tickets from both attractions.
Please note that The Gardens & Grounds have a shorter operating season than The Observatory Science Centre.

Admission to The Gardens & Grounds alone is via a separate entry ticket purchased from the castle entrance kiosk.
The Castle operates as an International Study Centre and is not freely open to the public. They do conduct organised tours at an extra charge so please check the website for times and prices.

Blue Peter Badge Winners

The Centre offers free admission to Blue Peter Badge Winners.

Each badge holder MUST be accompanied by a full paying adult or senior, and this cannot be combined with any other admission offer / voucher etc. Free admission is granted whenever normal admission prices would apply but will NOT be granted without a valid ID card and badge.
