We will be open daily through the East Sussex school holidays.

We are an educational charity and your support through pre-booking really helps us to schedule our activities and saves you money too!
Web booking cut-off time is 23.59 on the evening ahead of each visit date.
If you miss the deadline, or don't want to book on-line we can still accommodate you as day visitors with on-the-door admission prices and you can pay using card / phone / watch / cash and even cheque!
Stargazing evenings must be pre-booked and have no 'walk-in' capacity.

During summer months we open 10 am to 5 pm - please check booking calendar for the dates.
During winter months we open 10 am to 4 pm - please check bookings calendar for the dates.
As an educational charity we aim to balance the needs of all visitors with school group, venue hire, weddings & events etc.
We release booking dates at least 1 month in advance and recommend that you check our booking calendar, call us to check dates & times, or follow us on social media for the latest information.
The Observatory Science Centre is located in a beautiful rural location.
In extreme bad weather or 'Amber / Red' weather warnings advising against non-essential travel, it may not be possible to open for the safety of visitors, employees and volunteers.
We would use our social media for the latest information if we were unable to open.
