The Cafe is located on the ground floor in a room that was formerly an optics laboratory with the original marble benches forming the central table and counter.
Whenever The Centre is open (day /evening to 30 minutes before closing) we aim to serve refreshments including sausage rolls, toasties, jacket potatoes etc.
The Cafe has seating for 24 and there is a high chair and free bottle / baby food warming facilities.
In addition, a marquee is usually available during peak times as an overspill seating area.
We are committed to reducing plastic waste wherever possible and in our café, you will no longer find plastic straws / spoons / stirrers / individual sachets of sauce etc.
We have introduced teapigs tea ‘temples’ which are fully biodegradable and contain no plastic.
