Introduction to Life in the Universe
11th July 2020: This one day course is suitable for adults with a basic understanding of astronomy. Is there life beyond Earth? Over 4,000 exoplanets have been confirmed so far but what does it take for them to harbour life? What should we be looking for? Come and find out about the fascinating world of astrobiology.

The Earth is teeming with life even in the most inhospitable places. Does this mean that there could be life on other worlds? Would it be the same? How do we find all these exoplanets? What would we do if we did make contact? So many questions! This short one day course will introduce you to astrobiology and will try and answers some of these questions.
