Our Night Sky

For our 20th Astronomy Festival we are giving you the opportunity to enter photographs in a competition called 'Our Night Sky.'

This competition will be launched on 1 May 2024 and you will have until 1 August to submit your images. The images will be whittled down to a final 6 before the festival begins on 30 August. On 31 August the final 6 will be judged by a special panel which will include the well known astro-imager Nik Syzmanek and the BBC Sky at Night presenter and astroimager Pete Lawrence.

The images of all 6 finalists will be displayed on the wall of our cafe and the winning entry will receive a prize of an Oculus all sky camera with a recommended retail value of £825.
