Night Sky Photography one-day course: Sunday 21st September 2025

Time: 10.30 am to 4 pm

John will be teaching practical aspects of night sky photgraphy through lectures and demonstrations. You do not need to bring camera, tripod or telescope: just listen, learn and take away all of the essential information you need to start your fascinating journey into night sky photography. The course assumes competence with your own camera equipment.

This course is aimed at adults. If you wish to enquire about booking an under 18 (with an accompanying adult) onto the course then please phone The Centre on 01323 832731. We cannot accept under 18s onto the course without an accompanying adult.

You are welcome to bring your own food or purchase on site
The course takes place in one of our observatory domes on the first floor accessed by 2 flights of stairs
No refund can be issued within 7 days of the course
If you wish to cancel your booking and it is prior to 7 days before the date, there will be a £5 administration charge which will be taken off the refund
Parking is on the parking field at the front of The Centre: You will be informed of alternative parking if our usual grass parking area has had to be closed.
